My partner and I recently closed on our new home, and we couldn't have had a better experience working with Kevin Carlson as our realtor. From the beginning of our search and over many months, Kevin was an amazing resource and guide to the housing market in DC. He helped us explore various neighborhoods in the DMV area to get a better sense of what we were looking for and was extremely knowledgeable about each. Over many weekends and countless property visits (and even a few second looks), he ways always patient and never rushed us into making a decision. It was clear that helping us to find the perfect home, even if it took some time, was his top priority. Kevin is deeply invested in understanding what his clients are looking for and helping them navigate the real estate market even in difficult and uncertain times. He was always honest and straightforward with us about his thoughts on a property and its value. When we found our ideal home, he guided us through the negotiations with the seller, the home inspection, and the closing process, making it all feel much more manageable. Even after the closing, he was an amazing resource for contractors, landscapers, and much more. Kevin is a fantastic realtor and true professional, and we would strongly recommend him for anyone looking for a home in the DMV area.

Having encountered numerous agents in our 30 year history of buying and selling homes in multiple states, Kevin is by far, in a class of his own! His professionalism, quiet confidence, sense of humor and attention to detail made a stressful situation enjoyable. That’s a first for me! Kevin Carlson is a great real estate agent. He would unapologetically say ‘he’s the best agent in town” …I won’t disagree with that. He was there with me mid-way through the build helping me to pick out tiles and helping me with other choices. He is very responsive and communicative. He’s the kind of communicator that never makes you think you’ve been forgotten or you are second on his list. He is relentless and wants to find a buyer as much as you do. He does the research and knows his market. As a seller agent, he lets you make your own decisions, and just provides the best information for you to make those decisions…he strikes the right balance here. I would highly recommend; because, well, he’s the best!

Kevin was the best real estate agent my husband and I could have possibly asked for. We met with and tried out several agents before meeting with Kevin, and immediately when we met with him it was clear we’d be in good hands. He’s not pushy or rushed but he’s always available, he’s incredibly knowledgeable about the market, and he has great instincts. He’s also very dedicated; the first offer we put through during our search was complicated and time-sensitive.. Kevin stayed on calls with us until midnight formulating and submitting the final offer. He found the home we ended up purchasing via a private Compass listing, helped us bid out several other offerors, and the home still ended up appraising above our purchase price. The entire process was totally seamless and enjoyable. We cannot recommend him highly enough!!
