After becoming a first-time homebuyer in Logan Circle in 2007, I never thought the day would come when I would also be a first-time home seller. I'd weathered several moves as a previous renter and knew what an enormously stressful process it was. But after some professional changes and a long-time wish to be closer to family in South Carolina, I bit the bullet and called Daryl. I'd met him several times at various open houses in DC over the years, and knew he was the best in the business.I reached out in early December, and by midmonth, he came by and did a quick tour and assessment of my home. By Christmas, we had a game plan, and he then put me in touch with excellent professionals who were able to do a swift (and stunning!) makeover to have the place ready for market. I then got packed and moved back to SC by end of January. After getting resettled, Daryl called me and very honestly gave me the current pulse of DC post-January and how it might affect the sales of small studio apartments such as mine. But with his clever marketing tactics, no sooner did we have the unit listed, and there were three offers in three days... And that was before the first open house was even scheduled! Ultimately, four came in, and we went to contract well above asking. Again, all within a week.I don't think any seller could have asked for a smoother, more seamless transition than what I experienced under Daryl's care. Thanks to him and his wonderful operations manager, Yamile (who held my hand throughout this whirlwind of a month), I fondly bid farewell to my very first place as a homeowner. Forever Grateful!
