Buying real estate (especially out of state) can be hectic not knowing the laws of the land, but Katy walked us right through all aspects with ease. After we signed a P&S she would text every day or so to see if she could help in any way, whether it was lining up inspections or just giving friendly advice on what should be done next. She made us feel like we were her only client even though I’m sure she was pulled in every direction by others, as I know she’s very busy. 10 years ago, we fell in love with Orange Beach on our first visit here and wandered into Remax Orange Beach where we met Katy who was the Agent on Duty. Less than a month later, we were buying our first beach condo! A few years later, we decided to trade in for a larger unit and Katy was the first person we called. We did not use Katy when we bought our property at Orange Beach in 2018 but we wish we had known her then. We met her through a friend shortly after that and stayed in touch over several years as we watched the market together. Katy patiently stayed in touch and helped us to decide on the right time to sell, in the summer of 2022. She is not only great with people but highly analytical and spent a lot of time on the pricing strategy, which is not always common with realtors. We stuck with her strategy and got multiple offers within a couple of days. The first offer came in with some contingencies but because of our faith in her analysis and her vast experience and success, we stuck with her plan and it worked out very well. The whole thing was finalized within about a week and Katy took care of all the details from there because we live in another part of the country. Whenever we buy property again in Orange Beach we will 100% be hiring her.
