I’m Kari Battaglia, a REALTOR® and Broker Associate with NextHome Suncoast, serving Venice and surrounding Southwest Florida communities. I’m also proud to have served as President of the Venice Area Board of REALTORS® in 2017. I am fortunate to do what I love in a community I love, with clients I genuinely enjoy working with. Then we build the real estate strategy around that. With more than two decades as a licensed Florida real estate professional, Kari brings an unusually broad background to the clients she represents. Her experience spans residential real estate, financial services, property ownership and management, real estate development, and industry leadership. She uses that experience for one purpose: helping her clients make better-informed real estate decisions. Before transitioning into real estate full-time, Kari spent more than 18 years in the securities industry, focusing on wealth preservation and estate planning. She held Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses, as well as Life and Variable Annuity licenses, and served in leadership positions, including Operations Manager in Tampa. That financial background still influences how Kari approaches real estate today. She understands that selling a home is about more than choosing a list price, and buying a home is about more than finding one you love. Market conditions, timing, risk, property values, and long-term financial considerations all matter. Kari’s hands-on real estate experience began long before she started representing the public. She became a licensed Florida real estate professional in 2004 while actively buying, selling, developing, and managing properties. Her experience included single-family homes, residential rentals, vacant land, and developing and operating several mini-storage facilities in Florida and Tennessee. Those years gave Kari firsthand experience with property ownership from the other side of the closing table. A Seller-Focused Approach - For homeowners considering a sale, Kari combines extensive local market knowledge with careful pricing analysis, strategic marketing, and straightforward communication. She believes successful selling begins with understanding what today’s buyers are responding to, how competing properties are positioned, and what the current market data says. From preparing a property for the market to pricing, marketing, negotiating, and closing, Kari works closely with her sellers throughout the process. Her goal isn’t simply to list a home. It is to position it to compete. Helping Buyers Relocate to Southwest Florida - Kari also has a particular passion for helping people relocate to Florida. Moving to a new area involves much more than selecting a house. Buyers need to understand communities, housing options, insurance considerations, flood zones, HOA and condominium associations, property taxes, and the differences between neighborhoods and lifestyles throughout Southwest Florida. Kari takes the time to help relocation buyers understand those differences so they can decide not only which home is right for them, but which community feels like home.

Finally, a Real Estate Professional!

We did a little house shopping with Kari a few weeks ago. After looking at a couple of properties, Kari asked if we would be interested in a particular property, in a location we had never considered before. During a conversation, sometime later, we asked Kari why in the world would she have recommended that particular property? Her answer was very simple. Kari replied, "I was listening to the both of you". As a lifelong sales professional myself, those words were music to my ears! "Sales people" have no idea as to the importance of listening as opposed to talking. The house and the community was exactly what we didn't know we wanted! Only someone with a deep understanding of their market could give guidance such as this. As we went through the buying process Kari's communication was flawless, her product knowledge extremely thorough and reflected her years in the Real Estate business and certainly earns her the badge of a Veteran of the industry. We sailed through the process and closed with zero drama. Kari's professionalism and commitment to her clients is breath of fresh air. We are so pleased with Kari's work ethic as well as just enjoying knowing her that we have listed the home we moved out of with her for sale. A Great Experience with Kari Battaglia

We hired Kari twice as our realtor. Once to buy our home and again, five years later to sell our home. We found she knows the real estate market very well, regardless of its situation, and works very hard to meet your needs. She keeps in close touch during the entire process and responds quickly to all your calls. She’s kind, courteous, and has a sense of humor! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a realtor!
