We were not really in the market to sell our home, but with real estate prices soaring, we were curious about what our house could actually be worth. We met Karen hosting an open house in our neighborhood on a Sunday afternoon and told her we were just looking out of curiosity, seeing how our home compared to gauge the value compared to ours. We described our house to her, and she mentioned a number that we might be able to list our house for. It seemed like an unrealistic price to us, but she offered to come by for a no cost, no obligation consultation. We agreed and she came and we signed the agreement to let her list it. She was very professional, applied ZERO pressure, answered our questions honestly, and reassured us on all of our concerns regarding “showing” the house. She scheduled an open house for the first weekend that the house was listed and we got an offer for above asking price. She handled everything professionally, kept us well informed every step of the way, and it was surprisingly stress free. I highly recommend her for your real estate transactions.

Without hesitation I would rate Karen a 5 star real estate agent . Her knowledge of Sarasota is exceptional. We bought a house this winter. She knew the market & respected our budget. She helped negotiate with the sellers. Karen helped guide us through the tedious closing process. And provided us with a list of the utilities companies . She even gave us the names of her electrician , pool company, & plumber. We are away for 5 months & Karen checks on the house weekly. She is really a GREAT AGENT

Finding and buying a home during the Covid-19 pandemic was difficult and especially more so because I had my dear 93-year-old mother in my care. Practicing distancing, and extreme caution meant we first reviewed our choices by FaceTime. But we found the perfect place with room for mom, a caretaker, and for me who loves to entertain. Karen’s concern and understanding made inspections easier, and she even found me the ideal renovator. Tragically, my mother died shortly after closing. Yet Karen continues to be my sounding block, and a willing ear when the power of my loss is overwhelming. She is a truly compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable person: an real estate agent who goes beyond the norm.

We have just closed on our second home purchase with Karen over a 10 year period. Being an out of town buyer made our search more difficult and her role critical. As our family has grown and interests changed we needed an agent who was a keen listener with intimate knowledge of the area to be our guide. She did a great job buying and then selling our first home and with more recent purchase . She has earned her place at the top of our family’s list when we need an Agent.
