I have been active in the metro Phoenix real estate market since 1986. I moved here from Pennsylvania after after my high school graduation. I started with managing my own personal rentals, and went to real estate school to get my license. As the interest rates were so high in the late 1980's, real estate sales were very slow, so I got a job in the appraisal departments, within the banking industry, and learned a lot about appraisals. In 1996, my sister opened an art gallery, and I helped manage the gallery for five years. During that time, I was an independent real estate contractor for Bank One, now Chase Bank, and prepared residential and commercial market evaluations. The banks did not allow me to keep my real estate license while I was in the appraisal departments, so when I left the banking industry, I returned to real estate school, and obtained my license again in 2001. As I was starting over again as a real estate agent, I also prepared residential appraisals while I was growing my business. I have been everywhere in this Valley of the Sun as an appraiser and real estate agent, and cannot believe the growth that has happened since moving here in 1983. I have lived, and experienced with my clients, the different cycles in real estate, the changes that happen within the real estate industry, and continue to achieve to helping each and every client with the success of their own real estate goals. I am happily married to Sandy, who is a diesel mechanic. We live in Scottsdale, with our four dogs.
