Amazing to say, but this is the first we've worked with a Realtor in 23 years, and Josh made the process incredibly easy. About us: new snowbirds looking for property in Florida. We chose Josh because of his informative YouTube videos. After watching those, we met with him and toured a variety of properties. While that first visit didn't yield any winners, it DID solidify our trust in Josh. Over the next few months after we went home, Josh did a handful of video tours of properties for us. We had obviously never evaluated homes this way before, but Josh knew what he was doing, moving the camera as necessary and helping us to evaluate things from a thousand miles away. Because it's Florida, loans and insurance can be tricky and our usual stable of Mid-Atlantic experts had no interest in helping our dream become reality. No problem: Josh hooked us up with a Florida-based lender and they referred us to a great local insurance agent. In the end, we bought a house off of Facetime from a Realtor we met on YouTube and would do it again in a heartbeat. Great Realtor, incredible person.
Working with Josh was great. He is easygoing,knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. We were worried about making such a huge purchase from out of town but Josh made the experience go smoothly. He checked on our condo after Ian hit several times to put our minds at ease that everything was looking good. He also kept in close contact every step of the way. Josh and his wife Liz are amazing people. We first discovered them on their YouTube channel, That Florida Life. Such useful tips about the surrounding areas and fun people to watch! Josh went the extra mile us. Since we were living in another state he made us feel so comfortable to trust him with this life changing purchase. He toured numerous homes for us. Took videos of the home pointed out things that could be a concern and highlighted what was great. He drove through areas of neighborhoods explaining what amenities came with at each home we were interested in. We were able to see from another state what the area felt like because of how much he truly went the extra mile for us. He listens to what you like and don’t like. We can’t say enough about Josh! He went above & beyond our expectations. We were out of town buyers and he helped us navigate & strategize a favorable purchase plan sight unseen keeping us updated through out the process. He pro actively videotaped the home inside & out always professional, kind and friendly! Prior to that he had us on a search…we’d been looking for mos. & he checked in with us regularly. If we had an interest in a home he would check it out & do face time with us. “That Florida Life” website is amazing & informative! Even though purchasing sight unseen is difficult we had developed confidence and trust in Josh to move forward. He got us vital information to set up utilities as well as referrals, contractors, etc. He didn’t miss a bit! Then to top it off he & his lovely wife picked us up at the airport & on the way to our new home, gave us a mini tour of Venice Island & surprised us after a long travel day with a gorgeous gift basket, local ipa beer(our fav; how did he know?), pizza & a tidy house(ie:clean sheets).The next day his wife took us to the car rental!
