We have been looking at buying a home and moving to FLA from Chicago for years. Finally at the beginning of 2024 we were able to work remote and started looking at areas to move and I started watching YouTube for videos, developments and realtors. Josh Wilson and his videos (and his lovely wife) kept coming up in my YT search about the Southwest FL area. His personality in his videos was so relaxed and confident I found myself watching everything they produced about the SW Florida area and especially Wellen Park. When I felt like I "knew him" enough from videos I scheduled a video chat to interview him to be our realtor. We had a few other interview calls with other realtors scheduled, but after our chat that lasted 1.5 hours because we had such a great conversation, I cancelled the other realtors and I knew Josh was the realtor for us. We decided to build new at a development in Wellen Park. Living and working in Chicago and building in another STATE could have been stressful, but with Josh on the ground checking on the progress of our home, following up with questions we had or he had, tracking down the builder when we needed to talk with him and sending us photos and videos along the way it was virtually stress-free. Because he was in the Wellen Park development regularly he always kept an eye out on our house progress. Even during TWO horrible hurricanes he checked on our home before and after the hurricanes. He was at our homesite the day after Milton checking on our home after driving back from across the state. WHO DOES THIS? He sent us a wonderful home inspector who did a fantastic job and was arm in arm with us all along the way. Even when we had some punch list items that were not fixed prior to closing Josh helped us follow-up with the builder and get them done. We cannot thank Josh enough for his incredible professionalism, knowledge, and fantastic personality that helped make our FL home dream come true! 5 stars is NOT enough.
