Let me start by saying John is incredible. I think about a real estate agent in the era of redfin, Zillow, etc and I wonder what else they can do besides provide entry into houses that can be previewed on the internet. The key to a great real estate agent is the relationship. They know you and what you want. They have the best details about what it will take to get a deal done. They personalize the experience in a way that an internet webpage cannot. John has this in spades. This doesn't even include his expertise on the sell side of a deal. That is where his team shines even more. They have incredible knowledge about prepping a house in a way that fits your schedule while also an innate understanding of the market. We are very happy with our experience using The McKay Home selling team. This is not our first experience with the team. One of the reasons we chose them was the level of trust we already had established selling one of our rentals. John and his team listen closely and pay attention to what you’re saying and help you understand any of the process you may not be familiar with. Buying just bare land was a first for us and without John’s help we wouldn’t have gotten the property. They made things happen during crunch time getting our offer in even as we were ready to take off on a flight, literally sitting on the tarmac with the plane being delayed they got our signatures and when we landed 5 hours later our offer was accepted. We are so grateful to John and his team that this happened. As a team they all worked hard during closing to get all documentation and anything that they could to make sure due diligence was performed on our behalf. They talked us through things to ask the county and checking with other municipalities to make sure no stone went unturned too. All in all you could pick any realtor to sale or buy a home for you and it might even work out ok but we have a team that we can rely on and trust throughout the process.
