We had spoken to her on the phone & through emails regarding what we were looking for in NC and she delivered! She listened to what we wanted in a home & a community, and she found it for us. Being from the Northeast we were concerned about the Carolina storms and flooding and Clif did a great job of explaining all of that to us. He made us feel comfortable in the choice we made. Working with them, we had many questions and as they answered them for us, we came to realize how knowledgeable this team was, not only in the real estate market but also the surrounding areas. We had to communicate quite often through emails, text messages and phone calls because we are not from the area, and everyone on this team was very responsive. Jayne would also reach out to us from time to time to see if we had any questions or to follow-up on previous correspondence. We really appreciated that! Anytime we had a face to face meeting with our contractor, either Clif or Katherine was there with us. We always felt like they were looking out for our best interest. During one of our last meetings with the contractor (The Final Walk Through), Katherine was very helpful in picking out areas that needed a little extra attention before we closed. The Cheek Team also recommended and independent home inspection before the close which turned out to be very helpful (small items but another comfort level in the choices we made). Overall, we were very happy working with The Cheek Team and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for their "forever home". Thank You again for everything you did for us!

I was intrigued by the write up of a beachfront property; Clif Cheek took me to a viewing. The property owner and I could not agree on a price so I continued with an online search. Fate led me to a unit in Islander Villas Condos. Unfortunately I was unimpressed by that particular unit. But Clif suggested I look at another property in the same development. He was very patient while I inspected and asked hundreds of questions. I decided to make an offer; but I asked him for some guidance. In a very low key manner, Clif offered his advice. After a few back and forth offers and counters, we settled on a price attractive to both seller and buyer.
