Originally from Michigan, Cheryl moved to the coastal Carolinas in 1990 and quickly made the area home. Today, she works alongside her business partner Craig Helmecki as one half of The Real Team, assisting clients as they buy, sell, and invest along the coast. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Finance, Cheryl began her career in real estate soon after college, building a strong foundation in the industry early on. Her consultative, relationship focused approach centers on listening closely to her clients’ goals and providing honest guidance so they can make informed decisions. Clients often appreciate her experience, patience, and approachable nature, which help make the buying or selling process feel more manageable and enjoyable. Having lived in the area for more than three decades, Cheryl enjoys sharing the lifestyle that makes coastal North Carolina so special. From the beaches and waterways to the welcoming small towns, she helps clients connect not only with a home but with the community itself. Outside of real estate, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her children and being outdoors, whether biking, relaxing at the beach, or enjoying a day by the pool. She also supports local food pantries and community initiatives. Cheryl proudly serves clients throughout Calabash, Carolina Shores, Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Shallotte, Ash, Bolivia, and Holden Beach, as well as nearby South Carolina communities including Little River, Longs, North Myrtle Beach, and Myrtle Beach.
