Cheryl Hata is an incredible realtor and an amazing human being. We feel very fortunate to have met and worked with Cheryl. She is an outstanding communicator and is seemingly always available to look at houses or answer any questions. We were most impressed with Cheryl’s service post-sale. Since we weren’t moving locally, she not only recommended contractors (HVAC/Flooring), she took it upon herself to meet them at the property to obtain quotes, in order for the project to be completed before move-in. There are many more examples of Cheryl’s dedication to her clients, but suffice it to say that we cannot recommend her more strongly and feel that we not only found a home, we found a friend.

Lori and Cheryl were awesome in all aspects of selling our home! They prepared a thorough market analysis in determining when the best time of year was to sell and in setting a listing price. They prepared a timeline and strategy to have our home ready to go on the market in the prime time of year. Using other professionals, they identified improvements to the house to make the house and property more presentable. They coordinated and managed all the inspections, improvements and staging and did so with minimal disruption to our schedules. When the time came to put our house on the market, everything had been completed with time to spare. We had multiple offers and a signed contract within 2 weeks and they negotiated a higher price than the asking price. Communications were prompt and steady throughout the process...Lori and Cheryl were very responsive to emails and phone calls. They're the best!

We met with Lori to discuss possibly selling our home and the timing of doing so. She came all prepared with a market analysis covering our area, city, and neighborhood as well as what time of year was best for selling. She explained the process and gave her recommendations which foremost included putting the house on the market within 2-4 weeks! We had some work to do to get the place packed and ready. Lori has a partner, Cheryl Hata, whom we met about a week later due to our schedules. Together they arranged everything including inspections, possibly staging team, and recommended contractor if needed. As we packed up our home of 25 years, Lori and Cheryl arranged for the inspections—property, pest, and pool as well as roof. Cheryl was present during the inspections making sure it went smoothly and that we were aware of what was being noted when possible. Lot and Cheryl suggested we posting a “Coming Soon” sign on a realtor’s only website and on the yard sign before we even started staging. This idea was brilliant. We had multiple showings the first day and multiple offers. We sold at above market price without ever staging or going on MLS. While the process was a whirlwind of activity, Lori and Cheryl were in constant communication and made it all much less stressful than it could have been. We very much appreciate all they did for us and we highly recommend Lori and Cheryl.

I worked with Cheryl and Lori while trying to purchase a home in Walnut Creek from out of state. Trying to find a home sight unseen was extremely difficult and stressful. Cheryl and Lori were very patient throughout the process and went to visit the homes I was interested in and took pictures, did video tours and provided detailed descriptions of the house. I ended up purchasing a home after moving to Walnut Creek and going to view homes in person with Cheryl and Lori was a breeze. They were always available to accomodate my schedule and were quick to contact the listing agent to answer any questions I had on the house.
