While living, and working, in the Indianapolis area since 1985 Cathy played an active role in the Brownsburg Community School Corporation, serving many roles from parent volunteer to teacher's aide, including a seven-year service to the Brownsburg Education Foundation. In addition, she has served as a youth group leader in her Church and was a Girl Scout troop leader for her daughter. Most recently, she has been involved with the Susan G. Komen Tissue Bank and is an active member of the local Tri Kappa chapter. She and her husband Brad have two grown children.
