My wife and I have purchased and sold many homes during our lifetime. We originally reached out to Byron Garber to see one of his listings in Satsuma, but he was able to schedule viewings of seven properties during our two day marathon. After much patience and answering numerous questions from him, we eventually narrowed our decision to a property in Interlachen which was our preferred location. Byron directly communicated with the seller and helped us negotiate verbally before crafting the final offer. We made the final contract approval at the end of January and Byron arranged for us to close on February 6th. The home was not in perfect condition, but thanks to the inspections we were satisfied that it was perfect for us. Byron advised us all along the way, let us talk, and offered his advice when we asked. I want to emphasize that he sought our opinion, answered our questions, but did not attempt to sway our decision. To us, that is a real estate agent who practices his job of serving the clients. We moved from Florid's west coast after Hurricane Ian. We had visited St. Augustine a fee times, but didn't know it well. Byron showed us different kinds of neighborhoods in different parts of St. Augustine to help acclimate us. He learned from each house he showed us that wasn't quite what we were looking for and stuck with us. He communicated clearly and frequently by phone, text, and email which was important as we were trying to buy a house in St. Augustine while living on the other side of the state. He also helped us work through a successful offer and everything after until we moved into our house. Byron is friendly and easy to work with. We highly recommend him.
