I cannot express our appreciation for Amber Russell's expertise and compassion through all of the ups and downs of selling a home. She was always resourceful and went over and above in looking out for our best interests. You could not find a better agent!
Our dear, dear friend Amber Russell is the most incredible Agent/Broker known to the LaLondes! Along with her husband Rob, the owners of Over the Moon Realty helped us buy and sell several homes, each time making us feel that we were their only clients, that they were dedicated to our needs, and only ours. It all started with what we affectionally called “The Lunch House.” A vacation home in Pacific Grove, Amber helped us sell it and purchase our “Succulent Garden” home in the Beach Tract of Pacific Grove. When it came time to leave, Amber not only gave us her undivided attention, she helped us sell it in an incredible 15 hours from contact with a potential buyer’s agent to a final offer well above the asking price! If that’s not service (always with a smile), I don’t know what is. If you want that kind of service-humor, efficiency, expertise, and real passion for what she does, all wrapped up in an incredibly successful business model, look her up! We were very fortunate to have Amber represent us in the sale of our home in Pacific Grove. After seeing the house Amber made recommendations of small cosmetic changes we should make that would make the house look its best, and then arranged for the work to be done and supervised all the vendors. She kept us up to date on the progress and got everything done and had the house beautifully staged in under two weeks. Concurrently she ensured all the inspections and city reports were ready to go, so we were able to get the house on the market within two weeks of giving Amber the keys. The changes were unbelievable, she transformed our ho-hum house into a showpiece. Our home sold in five days with multiple offers for significantly over the asking price. The house closed in three days, with the shortest escrow ever! Having bought and sold multiple homes in the past, I can honestly say that Amber is the best agent we have ever worked with, I cannot recommend her highly enough.
We have worked with Amber twice now and it was a perfect experience each time. With Amber’s guidance, not only did we make the deal we thought was best for us but Amber made things so smooth and easy. Additionally, her use of a home buyers warranty saved us thousands of dollars! Especially in this market, you need a pro like Amber.
We interviewed several realtors before selecting Amber and Over The Moon RE. Amber demonstrated great local knowledge of the market, was personable, professional and well organized with a strategic marketing plan that helped us achieve our goal.

I have worked with Amber Russell selling two properties. I live out of state and felt perfectly comfortable working with her over the phone and by email. Initially, this was due to Covid-19. The second time, it saved me the expense of traveling and taking time off from work. Amber was always available by phone and email and answered all of my questions promptly. Real estate can be a complicated transaction and Amber excels in negotiating and closing the deal. Many agents can show a property, but not many have her level of negotiating skills. I found it to be a good indication of her skills when I saw the person who bought a property from me with Amber as the selling agent, chose Amber to list their property when they were ready to sell. They did not go back to the agent they used to buy the property initially. Amber has exceptional knowledge of the market as well as the local laws around real estate. If you have lived in the Monterey area, you know water is a big concern and there are required inspections and regulations which can vary by city. And finally, Amber has many established contacts who can complete any work that may need to be done to your property to show it at it's best. She also stages property. I interviewed four agents (1 from a long-standing real estate companies in the area, and two from local nationwide franchises) before deciding to use Amber. Her individual attention and ability to make things go smoothly were evident from our first conversation.
Amber is easily the best realtor we've ever had. She has excellent judgment, a great deal of experience, and we trust her. She is more than responsive--she got things done before we knew they needed to be done. What could have been an overwhelming experience became a smooth and pleasant experience from beginning to end. Very highly recommended.

I am pleased to share another positive experience I had with Amber recently after she sold a 2nd home for my family in the last 7 months. Amber is the gold star standard when it comes to Realtors and setting the bar extremely high. She has the Midas touch in everything she does whether it’s adding her personal touches to staging or providing guidance and support during what can be a very stressful time for both sellers and buyers. When it came to closing day, I was a bit overwhelmed and ran out of space in my UHAUL preparing for my journey back to CO. Amber provided reassurance and support and was able to help remove a few items that were unintentionally left behind. This was a huge sigh of relief and a bittersweet end to a family home that had been in our family for years. Amber’s support was invaluable during this hectic time. I also appreciated Amber letting me borrow her office when my home was being shown. She goes above and beyond for all of her clients. I wish I could clone Amber to assist with my upcoming purchase in Colorado!! -Shannon P- Colorado
We worked with Amber Russell to buy a house in Pacific Grove. Amber is an experienced, proactive, resourceful and all around amazing agent! She found a house that checked all our boxes, and in this hyper competitive market helped us come up with a strategy and guide us through a process that got our offer accepted. The house needed some work, and Amber went above and beyond, by getting multiple bids and coordinating the updates we wanted to make to the house before we moved in. Now, more than ever, you need a partner who delivers for her clients, and Amber is exactly the kind of stellar agent you need on your side.
Amber Russell is absolutely the best Real Estate Broker that you can trust to work with in buying or selling a home! She is extremely organized and knowledgeable and makes transactions happen quickly and seamlessly, providing comfort to what can be a stressful transaction. She is always responsive, has impeccable communication skills, highly experienced (can’t emphasize that enough) and patient every step of the transaction. I highly recommend Amber Russell, Broker at Over the Moon Realty!
