We were very fortunate to have Amber represent us in the sale of our home in Pacific Grove. After seeing the house Amber made recommendations of small cosmetic changes we should make that would make the house look its best, and then arranged for the work to be done and supervised all the vendors. She kept us up to date on the progress and got everything done and had the house beautifully staged in under two weeks. Concurrently she ensured all the inspections and city reports were ready to go, so we were able to get the house on the market within two weeks of giving Amber the keys. The changes were unbelievable, she transformed our ho-hum house into a showpiece. Our home sold in five days with multiple offers for significantly over the asking price. The house closed in three days, with the shortest escrow ever! I have worked with Amber Russell selling two properties. I live out of state and felt perfectly comfortable working with her over the phone and by email. Initially, this was due to Covid-19. The second time, it saved me the expense of traveling and taking time off from work. Amber was always available by phone and email and answered all of my questions promptly. Real estate can be a complicated transaction and Amber excels in negotiating and closing the deal. Many agents can show a property, but not many have her level of negotiating skills. I found it to be a good indication of her skills when I saw the person who bought a property from me with Amber as the selling agent, chose Amber to list their property when they were ready to sell. They did not go back to the agent they used to buy the property initially. Amber has exceptional knowledge of the market as well as the local laws around real estate. If you have lived in the Monterey area, you know water is a big concern and there are required inspections and regulations which can vary by city. And finally, Amber has many established contacts who can complete any work that may need to be done to your property to show it at it's best. She also stages property. I interviewed four agents (1 from a long-standing real estate companies in the area, and two from local nationwide franchises) before deciding to use Amber. Her individual attention and ability to make things go smoothly were evident from our first conversation.
