Buying a house in California has always been a dream of ours. We are recently engaged and weren’t sure that it would be possible for us in this current market. Luckily, we had Mark to help us. His experience and honesty are immeasurable. We had done all the research- everything we could google or read on reddit forum posts. We weren’t coming in blind, but we needed someone that we could trust to help with the parts that you can’t search online for. Plus, the landscape of regulations in California is constantly changing. It was so important that we had Mark on our side to navigate the experience.
From the start, Mark was ready to discuss our options. He listened to our wish list and gave us some advice. He wasn’t pushy; he respected when we had small differences in opinion. But for the most part, we were on the same page as him organically. We chose a lender based on our personal opinions, and it turned out that unfortunately they became completely unresponsive during the process. We regret not picking one of Mark’s preferred lenders in hindsight. Nevertheless, Mark was steadfast and resilient. He worked with the lender we had selected despite their shortcomings. When we couldn’t get ahold of our lender to ask questions, Mark didn’t give up. At one point he facilitated them finally calling us back. He was completely professional and navigated all of the extra work and headache that it caused. We are so grateful- we could have lost this perfect home if he had not fought so hard to keep our lender involved.
