Over a 4 year period I had used 3 realtors to try to sell my home in Norwalk. I had a 16 year old home and I was competing with new construction the house wasn't selling. I had finally given up hope of selling and decided to rent out the home so I could move to Arizona. After the renters moved out, I really had some work to do to get the house ready for sale. My property manager recommended Michelle Price. Right away, I knew I was working with the right realtor! I knew that I would need to have some work done on the home to get it ready for sale, but since I live in Arizona it would be difficult to arrange upgrades and contractors. Michelle Price stepped up to the bat and basically became my very own project manager in Iowa. I can't say enough about the work that she did. She teamed up with my property manager and arranged carpeting, paint, granite countertops. She oversaw the whole process! She chose paint colors, carpeting, granite, new sinks. She recommended that I change out all the tile in the home which included a laundry room, 3 bathrooms, entryway and tub surrounds. She met with tile suppliers and chose the color palette. She scheduled the work and even showed up at the house to let workers in. Throughout the whole process, I was kept in the loop and she always got my approval on final colors and materials and costs. When the house was completed, it was updated and looked like a brand new home. All new paint all new flooring all new countertops and tub surrounds. Because of her work, we received an offer that was HIGHER than our asking price. Because of the money I spent on upgrades, I was able to get a higher price for the home. All of the money that I spent on upgrades was returned to me and more! Michelle knows the Norwalk market! She knew what was necessary to help my home compete with the new construction. She rolled up her sleeves and made everything happen.
