Through the 5 month process Laura’s communication and commitment to helping my family find a home couldn’t have been better! Stan at Realty One took exceptional care of me and my siblings during a very sensitive time selling our parents home (estate). After a few home purchases over the last 30 years I now know where the bar sets when it comes to realty professionalism, I had no idea the bar went that high. The home had its issues , yet plenty of charm, Stan with his expertise was able to help set a dollar amount on that charm. Stan also understood our tight budget and helped direct us on where to focus our attention while getting it ready for listing ( this was immensely helpful as we didn't even know where to start). After listing the home we immediately started getting offers, Stan was quick to educate and coach us on what each offer entailed, and which one(s) suited us best. Unfortunately first contract fell through for reasons out of everyone's control, Stan however did not skip a beat.... We went live moments later and were back in contract with a new buyer... Honestly, I could not have pulled off the whirlwind of a sale with out her! She made miracles happen almost over night! I lived several hours outside of town and she went out of her way for me to make all the demanding issues happen for my sale. She went above and beyond! We sold that house within hours of it going live and had closing done in a 14 day turn around! This was our first home buying experience and we knew very little. From the first meeting - Laura felt like an old friend. She was warm and welcoming and kind. We received outlined expectations of processes that ended up really helping us later on. We went over what kind of paperwork to expect, too. This set the tone for our entire working relationship with Laura - she does her best to anticipate any issues and kept us in the loop. Her communication sets such a high bar and we are so grateful. I am kind of type-A, so it’s hard for me to hand over the reins on a process to someone else. Especially something as important as a house. Laura showed such great aptitude and work-ethic that I was able to fully put everything in her hands and not worry. Anyone who knows me, not worrying is NOT an easy thing to achieve!! There was one thing that me and my fiance knew for certain - Laura was in our corner fighting for us always. If it was possible to be done, Laura got it done. If she couldn’t do it, no one could. Anytime we heard “no”, it was always “no and” or “no but”. It seemed she always worked to give us exactly the news we wanted to hear. She has earned our lifelong business. After 2 years of trying to work with another agency, Stan fell from the skies, tucked away his 2 white feather wings, and delivered the best experience we could have asked for! Working with Stan was so smooth and easy! Stan was very communicative and a pleasure to work with. Stan has personality and is someone you'd like to know on a personal level. There are used car salesmen and then on the polar opposite you have Stan. As first time homebuyers, we were informed every step of the way.
