She taught real estate school for 3 years and decided to walk away from that in 2020 so she could focus on her clients more. She has lived in Colorado Springs her whole life. As a resident of Colorado Springs for 26 years, and real estate broker for 24 of those years, I know the city and the market well. Prior to moving here I worked for the Department of Energy at the Los Alamos National Laboratory as a meeting planner in the Protocol office. Fun fact about me is that I was born West Africa and later attended the International School of Kenya. After our overseas adventures, my family moved to Northern New Mexico, close to Santa Fe. (I love and miss NM green chile!) My parents having jobs overseas inspired me to work abroad, so I spent a year teaching English in Romania. My husband and I met in New Mexico and we moved to Colorado Springs in 1998 when he took a job as a firefighter with the City of Colorado Springs. We have a daughter and a son, both of whom are hockey players. My focus is on serving my clients with great attention and care. Most of my business comes from referrals, so making sure my clients are happy is of the utmost importance. Laura is quick to respond, answering questions, helpful advice and timely reminders. She’s a seasoned professional and has good referrals to help in any situation. We needed an inspector, foundation certification, flooring professional, loan broker and more and her connections helped move forward with confidence. Educated in her field, Laura is up to date on current changes in the market and her professional skills sharing her abundant knowledge with a gentle open heart. Our realtor Lauren Atkins is the best realtor you will ever find.

Our realtor Lauren Atkins, is absolutely phenomenal! She has helped us find two amazing homes that we bought within the last year. She listened to what we were looking for and did a thorough search, showing us only homes that addressed what we are looking for and within our budget. She most recently sold us the house on 75th St., and we are loving it here! Lauren goes above and beyond to work with her clients and pays particular attention to what they are needing within their price range, and wish list and parameters. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to buy or sell a home. She is currently also selling our home in Monument CO; she has held multiple open houses in-person and also created an online video. She has a wonderful network of realtors with whom she collaborates. We’ve already had a few showings and people interested in the home. She is truly exceptional in all she does. I strongly recommend her for anyone wanting to buy or sell their home with efficiency and within budget parameters.

If you are looking for a Realtor in Colorado Springs, I highly recommend Sam. Over the past 30 years, we have moved 15 times, and Sam was the most knowledgeable and friendly Realtor we have ever worked with. His expertise, especially with VA assumable loans, was far beyond anything we had seen before, but his knowledge was not limited to that. He understood every part of the process. Even more impressive, he never pressured us once. Sam was not focused on just making a sale; he genuinely wanted to help us find a home that fit our needs and our budget. He was incredibly patient, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish.
