I have met Karyn Cho few years back, when I was looking for a rental. There is not much work for a realtor in the renting process, but she still helped by making me aware of a few flaws about the house and even negotiating for a better deal. This year I decided to buy me a house, for the first time. So again, Karyn helped me a lot. She explained every step in buying process and meanings of terms. Then Karyn energetically arranged showings, I had some houses shown within hour after being put on the market. She explored houses with me, pointing at strengths or defects that I would not have noticed myself. All the time, she actively communicated with me, providing information, documents, etc. In the end, she prepared paperwork and made all appointments necessary to close the deal as soon as possible. Finally, on top of her professional qualities Karyn is a nice and cheerful person, easy to reach out and to talk to.

Jodi helped me in my search for a townhouse in Chapel Hill. After we did not find any listed properties to my liking, Jodi contacted owners of properties not yet listed or on the market, but in which she learnt I may have an interest, I ended up purchasing such an off-market property, and it would not have happened without Jodi's considerable efforts and persistence. After contacting the property owner, Jodi quickly established a great working relationship with the Seller and negotiated a tough but fair purchase contract on my behalf. Her strong organizational and management skills guided the contract through due diligence and required repairs. Jodi also went above and beyond by scheduling and coordinating the repairs, painting, cleaning, etc. that made the house ready for my move in. I have dealt with a few agents over the years, but I can say without hesitation Jodi provided the best service and guidance. It was my pleasure working with Jodi on my recent purchase, and I will certainly recommend her to any buyers/sellers who are in need of an agent. She is simply the best!

We interviewed 5 other agents and had them prepare their strategy and met with each one. Someone from Jodi's office called and suggested that I talk to Jodi for 5 minutes. I did so and then we met with her and decided to go with her over the 5 agents we had already considered and had recommendations for. We think that was a good decision. We greatly appreciate all Jodi's efforts to help us sell our long-time home and her persistence through the time it took to make it happen. Needless to say, it was not easy for any of us but the result was positive and a great relief to us. Jodi had also discussed our renting our home if we could not find a buyer and that was important, even though not our preference, but we had to face all the possibilities. We had also been told by two other agents that we needed to set the initial price at $525K in order to sell the house and Jodi was able to prove them wrong. We knew it was an unusual property but we needed someone who could look at that as an opportunity for the right buyer and not an excuse to sell cheap and move on. Thanks to Jodi for her efforts to help us find the right buyers and complete the sale on good terms for everyone. I hope the new owners will be happy there. We appreciate all that Jodi did and her patience in getting through all the showings for the wrong buyers, the complainers, etc. Jodi was professional and thorough and we thank her for getting the job done.

Karyn was our Real Estate Professional when we moved to the Durham area from Illinois, as well as our Real Estate Professional when we were selling our home in order to move to Montana. Karyn made the process of buying and selling a home when we were not physically close so easy! Karyn is approachable, friendly, direct, and realistic. Her approach allowed us to know where we were in the process at all times. She is very organized and help us to stay on task with the items we needed to handle. I have dealt with many Realtor's over the years, but have never worked with someone of Karyn's caliber. Karyn has set the bar of my expectations very high and I only wish that she was located in my new state so that I could work with her on buying our next home.

Our property is in the Chapel Hill area but we live in another state. It was particularly important for us to work with an agent who uses the Web effectively for marketing and who uses email, text, phone, and electronic documents to keep in touch throughout the process. Jodi emailed an excellent presentation packet when I first contacted her, a big factor in our choosing her over the other three agents I approached. In the packet, she emphasized communication and feedback, so we could tell she realized these would be important to us as clients. Jodi far exceeded our hopes and expectations. She supported and guided my husband and me every step of the way: through repairs and updating, pricing, marketing, working with the buyer, and closing. She is extremely professional and at the same time warm and personable. Once the house hit the market it sold quickly. It was priced right--which we never could have figured out ourselves. Jodi took excellent pictures, had them "virtually" stage with eye-catching computer graphics, and hired a professional appraiser to do a floor plan and measure square footage. The house was actually larger than we realized and we were able to adjust our price upwards a bit. We can recommend Jodi without hesitation.
