Julie just helped us close on a Co-op in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Aside for being a genuinely nice person Julie is great at her job. She should be the first call to anyone looking to buy or sell in Brooklyn. We were first time home buyers and she took us through the process step by step...recommending great real estate lawyers, lenders, movers and contractors. People told us how hard and frustrating the buying process is, but it couldn't have been less stressful and easier...my wife and I have a feeling that's mostly due to Julie. Her knowledge of the Bay Ridge area is superb and especially in the co-op space. She always goes the extra mile to pre screen potential buyers she brings to your listed home to ensure no ones time is wasted. As she did with us on our original purchase of the co-op, she walked the buyer through the application process and answered all questions needed. I got in touch with Julie back in April 2015. Out of the many agents that I contacted, she was the only one who responded right away. I wasn't ready to buy then, and being a first time homebuyer, I had very little knowledge on how everything worked, but Julie was patient & willing to speak with me and answer any questions I had then, even though I wasn't ready to buy. She gave me all the details of the home buying process and recommended a list of loan officers that I could choose from if I wanted to, if I had any questions before and during the home buying process. I kept in touch with her since then as she was my go to person for any question I had. Finally, when I was ready to buy in late November of 2015, I met up with Julie and went to check out a few homes in Bay Ridge. When she was out of town, she had her associate Susan show me homes who is also very knowledgeable & helpful. Honestly, Julie made the home buying process so smooth for me. She guided me through the process, advised me on who to contact & when step-by-step (list of loan officers, lawyers, insurance agents, and even contractors to choose from who were familiar with the area and the buildings) and saved me a lot of time and energy. Julie’s a pleasure to work with. Her extensive knowledge about the area, the buildings, & contacts made my home buying process so smooth. I am happy to say that I will be closing in a few weeks. Tenacious. That one word sums up this Realtor. My wife and I put a "Make Me Move price to see how soft the market was. Within days, we had 10 offers. Along with the offers were different Realtors looking to represent us. Todd stood out. He was creative in the ways he wanted to market our house and he was motivated to get to work. Although we were still slightly on the fence about selling, he made us feel very comfortable about the process and our prospects of getting a good price. After deciding we would sell, we gave Todd a list of cash offers we had received and asked him to deal with them, and make something happen. A couple days later, he had vetted the offers, weeded out the low bids and problematic purchases and found additional offers for us. Short and sweet, he found us our cash buyer, negotiated OUR price, even though they tried playing hardball, and got us exactly what we wanted. He even found a contractor to replace the steps the tenants damaged while moving out. No cost. Needless to say, we tipped him well. Great Realtor, great experience with him.

Todd really went above and beyond in the process of selling our home. I cannot overstate how indespensible he has been. He was highly motivated from day 1, and balanced our need for a fast sale with a higher price than we were expecting. He had us in contract within four days of listing, and held our hands every step of the way. We live out of state, and the house was tenant occupied. He worked tirelessly with our tenant to negotiate showing times, and help her find a place to relocate. He attended every inspection as our representative to ensure all questions could be answered and problems addresses. He also took care of many little problems that popped up during the contract period that could have interfered with closing. This process could have been incredibly stressful for us due to the circumstances. But Todd's patience, commitment, and motivation ensured it wasn't. All of the forms were filled out and signed digitally, so it was quick and easy. He remained on top of the title company and the tenant, responding to her unease and helping her in every way he could. He also negotiated a much higher price than was initially offered (increasing the sale price $15K). Most importantly, he understood our needs, and worked to meet them even though it meant less commission for him (we wanted to go with a cash buyer that was agreeing $15K less than a mortgaged offer because we needed a fast closing). We absolutely could not have done this without him. It was Less than 6 weeks from listing to closing despite tenant issues and some inspection hiccups. If I ever need a realtor in the Tampa area again, I would absolutely call Todd!

I found Jule Thum to be everything one could hope for in a realtor and more. I have never gone through the process of selling a home on my own before and I also wasn't familiar with the real estate market in the area where my mother's house (which was the house up for sale) was located. From day one, Julie directed me and explained the overall process involved in selling a home. She explained how she would choose an asking price, what needed to be done to make the house most attractive to potential buyers and what the process would involve once buyers began making offers. Julie guided me through every step of the process, from placing the house up for sale through the closing process. I live in Texas so I wasn't able to do a variety of tasks such as letting people into the home to do repairs or to remove various items from the house that I wished to donate. She volunteered to help me with all of that and more. She gave me a list of people skilled in all sorts of areas which might require work in the house. It was a relief to have the phone numbers of people whom I could hire who Julie knew were honest and capable. This was especially important to me as I had no one who could recommend the variety of workers I needed. I have to say that this process would have been hell had I not had Jule to help (and always offer to help) along the way. She kept me informed every day new buyers came by and provided me with their feedback. She showed the house every day for the first week and by the end of that week, she already had a series of bids which was more than the asking price. She managed to get me a bid I never thought would be possible to secure. Who could ask for more? I would recommend her in a NY minute to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. I only wish she worked here in TX as well.
