After 30+ years in the Illinois cold and snow, a life-changing Raleigh opportunity popped up. It was a no-brainer after a brief pros and cons discussion . With two toddlers and elderly dog in tow, our little family moved cross-country into a second-floor apartment, sight unseen! After settling in, I quickly realized that working in marketing and events with odd hours was not conducive to raising our family in a new state with no family or friends around to assist. Being one to never 'not work', I had to think of something that allowed me to stay home with our kids. One Craigslist ad (offering small businesses help with their social media) later, I had found my first client - a real estate agent. It was a perfect way to be with my kids, meet new people, and learn the area! Eventually, a local mom/real estate coach needed a project manager. Once again, I found myself working in real estate. Less than a year later, by word of mouth, I was offered a remote marketing manager position for a top producing agent in Chicago. Loving it all, combined with my experience and interest in all things “home” - I wanted to take it a step further. As they say, “The rest is history.” My goal is to help both buyers and sellers with their real estate needs and to be an asset/ service to the community. Perfect Agent for First Time Homebuyers
Karen was amazing to work with! We were first time homebuyers with lots of questions and uncertainty about what exactly we were looking for. We are also new to the Charlotte area and Karen's knowledge of the area was super helpful in narrowing down our search. She was very patient with us as we viewed maybe 50+ homes during this process. Karen and her team were effective and quick communicators making the entire process easier. We can't wait to recommend Karen to anyone we know that is entering the home buying process!

Lisa went above and beyond to sell our family home—professional, caring, and exceptional.
I knew selling our family home would not be easy, especially with the decades of celebrations and memories that our house holds. From our very first meeting, Lisa went above and beyond to make the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Her professionalism, knowledge of the market, and attention to detail were outstanding, but what truly set her apart was the genuine care she showed for our family. She understood the emotional significance of the home and guided us through every step with patience, compassion, and expert advice. Lisa coordinated everything from staging and marketing strategies to cleaning, repairs and negotiations, always keeping us informed and advocating for our best interests. In the final weeks, she showed up to assist with packing and making trips to Goodwill for donations. Thanks to Lisa's hard work and dedication, we were able to sell our family home quickly and for a great price. Lisa demonstrated early in the process of selling my home she truly cared and had my best interest at the top of the priority list which earned my trust in her.Her communication throughout the process was clear, timely, and accurate. Anytime a decision had to be made ahe always presented more than one option we could go and explained in detail the results of each possible decision. She never delayed to respond to any questions or concerns I had, again strong communication and execution. Lisa is very knowledgeable and skilled in her field, I would recommend her to anyone.
