We came down in February and put in several calls to realty companies Janet was the first one that called us back. Even though I gave her short notice we were only in town for a week the next day Janet lined up several houses for us to look at. We finally decided to go with a new construction, though we didn’t want to pay CDD. Janet located home builders and home developments that did not charge CD D’s. After several days of looking we decided on the house we wanted. Janet assisted all the way with the paperwork as well as after we went home to a different state following up for us. She out to the job site taking pictures and videos for us, which was greatly appreciated. She advocated for us when they were issues. She made buying this home an easy transition. We decided to move to Florida in May of 2021! We knew we wanted the Davenport to Clermont area and we wanted a house in a regular development! I had talked to a few realtors who didn’t seem very interested in working with us since we would not be relocating until fall as the market was too hot! Every morning when I got up I saw all the new listings in thst area! Eventually my husband thought an over 55 woukd bd best for us but he insisted on a 3 car garage!!! Many over 55’s don’t have 3 car garages! Once again every morning g all ghe over 55’s came in my email and we bought plane tickets to fly down on 8/16! The Mornjng of 8/13 came with email and there was a house in Leesburg with a 4 car garage on a corner lot with a conservation pond in back of it! I saw it at 7 and showed it to my husband and he said it’s perfect! We called Jim and my husband made a full price offer! We had to see the house within 72 business hours! Our house was listed in 6/16 ! We flew down and looked at the house on 8/17 and some one looked at our house on 8/27! On 8/18 both offers were accepted! So we bought and sola a house on the same day! Wow, God had a lot to do with that! I sat in a hotel room signing document to sell and buy over about a 2-3 hr period. We flew down on 10/2 and stayed with my sis waiting for the moving van and decided to just stay in the house! We finally met Jim face to face and he gave us a beautiful wreath ghat still hangs on our front door! It matches the house perfectly! I think of him every time I look at it It faces east in a screened in porch and has not faded ! We are very happy that Jim took me seriously and we consistently kept in touch! We are having our lanai screened in and when that’s done we’ll have Jim and his family Over to check out everything we’ve done! It was a very smooth real estate transaction! Jim is a great guy personally and a great businessman as well he stepped in and helped us figure out what we needed to do to sell our property that was in need of some repair and he told his what he thought needed to be done and what didn't need to be done in order to save us some money. I was selling my elderly mothers home as I had to move her up near me to take care of her. Jim was so professional and understanding and worked with me to get the best price for her home, all the while dealing with me from a totally different state. He was very accommodating to my schedule. His communications about the home selling was superb. He always answered my calls and questions. He was even willing to help me with guidance on repairs and activities to clean out the house as I lived out of state and not familiar with the local businesses.
