I first met Jennifer Thayer when she knocked on my door to ask if I was prepping my house for sale. At the time I had a crew installing new windows and doors. I responded affirmatively but not in the immediate future. Later that day she knocked again with a fully prepared cash offer. I only glanced at it but she made a positive impression. While the waterfront location of my 1950s block house was prime and I made strategic major investments, the house was still largely outdated. To prepare for selling, I did my own due diligence which included extensive financial and market analysis, I hired an independent appraiser with a solid history and I talked to a number of realtors about the property. When I met with Jennifer to discuss listing the property, she arrived prepared with her own sales analysis and was willing to discuss all aspects of the marketing plan as well as her thoughts on presentation prior to me signing any agreement. I found this openness refreshing as I had met with other realtors who wouldn’t open their files or offer thoughts without first getting my signature. Besides being pleasant and professional, I hired Jennifer because of her presentation and background, that she balanced compliments and honesty when she toured my outdated home, and, despite being more prominent downtown, I thought she likely had an extensive network of potential buyers for premium real estate. We seemed to be on the same page from the start and the sale went exactly as I had hoped. Without reservation I would definitely work with Jennifer again as either a seller or buyer.

What an excellent experience I had with Janice. She was proactive in keeping me informed with the whole real-estate process. She found my villa before it was built and kept me up to date with weekly pictures and correspondences. She stayed in contact with the builder and the superintendent. When it came down to closing, she was on top of all the paperwork and helped get my utilities set up. I an very lucky to have found her!
