Not just our Realtor, our new friend
We had only visited Hilton Head once, but were familiar with Folly Beach. So when my husband agreed to a small condo for our family to renovate, rent and enjoy with our teenagers and dogs, HHI felt like the perfect fit.
As I started searching the market, Jenny reached out via email. Thank goodness she did because we had ZERO knowledge about the area.
We knew only our approximate budget, and that we wanted to rent our condo for short term/vacation rentals and bring our dogs.
Over the next months Jenny answered my millions of questions, always the same do they allow short term rentals & dogs!
Jenny was always gracious and patient with my questions, returning my texts and emails promptly.
Soon we put an offer on a 2 bedroom in Oceanbreeze/Treetops. It was a great fixer upper, but the inspector found some items we could not remedy ourselves within our budget.
Back to the drawing board, we knew this location from having rented a unit for spring break. Jenny found us a 3 bed 3 bath with screened in porch that we purchased.
All the while answering our questions, connecting us with a loan agent in the local area. All of these things are different then purchasing in Ohio, also a 2nd home is handled differently too.
At one point the sellers agent was not responding to a concern we had about plumbing (again something Jenny advised us was a concern in this area). We were ready to walk away from our offer. Jenny was our strong advocate.
I knew with her Masters in Business that she had a strong background in business and the real estate market for HHI.
It was a bonus when we discovered that she had also lived in the Dayton area like us.
In the future we would love to add to our property portfolio and have Jenny right by our side again for every sale.
I would recommend Jenny Wells to ALL of my family and friends! Again her business/realtor experience is immeasurable. Add to that her kindness, patience, sense of humor and we call her our first friend in Hilton Head.
