Wow, wow, and wow!!! In this very challenging market with low inventory and rising interest rates, Kim Spear and Lara Hopewell really delivered. They kept us up-to-date with their actions while scouring neighborhoods, tapping into contacts, reaching out to owners and really left no rock unturned to find purchase options for us. Their creativity and pure dogged determination really paid off. They are both consummate professionals and there was never a hurdle too high to jump! Our minds remained open and we saw a variety of properties which was exactly what we needed to do in order to find our happy off-market (!) home that we were able to close in 30 days. We recently worked with Lara Hopewell to buy our new home in Loudoun County and she was awesome to work with from day 1. She spent time giving her perspective on the market and easing my concerns about getting started for before we decided to get started and sign a contract with her. She was willing to see many houses throughout our search as we looked at too small and too large homes until we found one right in the middle. Lara was fun to work with, she was always upbeat and helpful. More than anything we felt like Lara was 100% focused on our needs as a family, not about closing a quick deal, not about optimizing her commission, and not about what would have been easy. She felt like part of our family and that she was as invested in finding the right thing for us as we were. She was always thinking strategy for us when she saw we had some interest in a home, and her communication with the other agents was awesome as this approach helped us gain insights and positioning. She talked us through the strategy to make our offer to win against 7 other buyers and we still felt like we got great value for our home. Our only regret is that we used a different agent to sell our prior home and it would have been much smoother and more positive experience with Lara by our side!

I cannot say enough good things about Pam Nonemaker. As a single, stay at home mom who was kicked out on the street by her partner, Pam first managed to find me a beautiful rental home when no one would rent to me. She never pressured me to buy, and when I was ready to, she immediately set up appointments. Pam took the time to fully understand what my dream house needed to have, and she helped me to find it when I thought it would be impossible to do, and out of my budget. She guided me through the entire process from start to finish, and educated me along the way. When I felt stressed she was able to calm and to reassure me. The home I fell in love with had over 120 people come through for the open house and numerous offers. I did not think I had a shot yet here I am. I am beyond grateful for all of the hard work Pam put in on my behalf, and on a personal note I have never worked with a realtor who is so much fun, and who made the process a fun one.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Kristy Moyssiadis for the sale of our home and the purchase of our new one. Several years ago when we purchased our home, Kristy was the listing agent for the seller. We were so impressed with how smooth the process was for us (from the other side of the transaction), that I vowed to use Spear Realty for our next transaction. Fast forward 8 years, and here we are! During such a volatile time in the housing industry - transitioning from a seller's market to a buyer's market with historically high interest rates - we were unsure if we would be able to sell our home at a price where we were comfortable and also find a new home that checked all of our boxes. Kristy was in constant communication with us at every turn, leveraging her decades of experience in the Northern VA real estate market and helping us make informed steps forward. She seems to have solid relationships with agents across the region, which was an asset when inquiring about listings or submitting offers. Having an agent with an excellent reputation certainly helps! Kristy is steady, unflappable, and offered suggestions backed by data and current metrics of the market. She takes her business seriously and is very thorough. We were pleased with our experience and ended up in a home that we LOVE and likely wouldn't have pursued if we didn't have Kristy's insider real estate knowledge.

We had a wonderful experience working with Kristy. She sold our condo and help us with our new build home. She was thoughtful and extremely responsive throughout the whole experience. It took us about 7 months to build our home with Van Meter in the Hartland Community. She checked in throughout the process and provided valuable expertise when it came to working with the builder. We are grateful for her help!

Simply put, Kristen is PHENOMENAL!! Her expertise and professionalism are unmatched. There were 9 total offers for the house we purchased and Kristen strategically structured our submission to make it as competitive as possible. The offer we submitted would not have been accepted had it not been for her guidance and research. In addition, Kristen sold our previous residence in 5 days and over our asking price… and with 3 other properties for sale on our street.
