We came for a month from out of state looking for the perfect area. Rick was very patient with us. Sending us all the listings that fit our interests. We found our dream house on one of the listings he sent us after we came home. Very scary move for us but Rick guided us with the purchase. He made us feel very comfortable, sight unseen is the normal these days. We were lucky everything worked out. Paul Wheeler was a big help for Rick in our sale. They both help us and guided us with all our questions. Paul was there with us during the inspection and will be doing the walk thru when the sellers move out. Since we are still out of state. We appreciate Rick and Paul for all they did for us.

I am very pleased that a friend suggested I contact Diane about selling my house in Stoneybrook. Diane came to my house in May 2021 for our first meeting. I knew at the end of our meeting that I wanted her to sell my house. She is very professional and during the next nine months until the sale of my house and the closing of my new house, Diane was always there for me. She answered all of my questions thru the entire process of both selling my house and finding and purchasing a new house. When I left her voicemail messages she always returned my calls promptly and always responded to my text messages. Karen made the entire process, from searching to closing, as smooth as possible especially in light of the current state of the real estate market. We choose Rick every time! This home that Rick De Barros just sold for us was the very home he helped us find about 3 years ago! Our story is that we do move a lot due to work and there are a lot of excellent agents to choose from, but Rick is our go-to. He answers his phone, he returns calls and texts communicating anything big or small. Rick pursues details regarding the sale of the house down to the surveys and future projects that may affect any purchase. He flushes out answers to questions that I had no idea I had to ask. In my opinion it is a duty to understand some of the process I am about to embark on. Rick handled all of my questions and I had confidence to just let him "do his job", for I am not a professional in Real Estate. I am glad I could rely on him as we had to move on to the next phase quickly. Also, Rick has what seems like unlimited resources in his contact list that can help fix or answer any question. No kidding. I know, a story, but it's true: We had a "sticky" sliding door on our house from day 1, we just lived with it as we thought since the previous owners lived with it, it must be a huge fix. Then came the sad day of our open house (sad, as this was an amazing home to live in), Rick called a "guy", they did some phone troubleshooting to no avail and the "guy" showed up the NEXT day. Within 30 minutes you could slide - or should I say glide - that door open/close with 1 finger (facepalm on us). When we listed, he directed us on how to de-clutter our home for pictures and for the open house. Of course, we all know to "tone" it down, but, it's nice to get some set guidelines to follow as it's a hard emotional task to dismantle a life. Rick De Barros is straightforward and a quality person to deal with when buying or selling your home. He will inform, research and sell your home in a very professional manner.
