Andy Sopher guided me through the process of purchasing my home in Elk River. There were some bumps and detours along this journey, and during those times, I became discouraged. There were times when I even started to wonder if maybe it was not the right time for me to purchase a home. As a single woman, I needed an advocate, as there were issues that needed to be corrected in the home to make it safe for me to live there. Andy was my advocate. He was a trustworthy and highly skilled guide throughout the entire process. We were able to successfully reach the destination, and close on the home. Our house originally sold the first weekend on the market, but the buyers backed out after the inspection came through because the roof had hail damage (which was disclosed!). Andy contacted a contractor for us who was able to get us a new roof which had been previously denied. With that news, we updated the disclosures and went back to an active sale. This time it took a bit longer to sell and we had to come down a little in price with the changing market. The new buyers had a few unusual demands but Andy was able to handle everything for us and keep our frustration levels down. He was always available when we had questions or needed to talk things through. It definitely wouldn’t have gone as smoothly if we had tried selling on our own or with a discount broker! It was a great experience working with Andy! He is super prompt in replying to your messages, scheduling the meetings, reminding you about the necessary steps to complete in time, communicating with people as required. What I liked most is that he always advised on inspection contingency in a seller's market when other realtors typically advise on waiving inspection to close a deal asap. He has guided me throughout the process, did his homework before house showing each time but also has been honest in disclosing anything he didn't know at that point.

Ryan was the listing agent on the house we purchased. We felt very comfortable with Ryan so we asked him to help sell our current home. From day one, the communication was excellent. He kept us informed and explained when we didn't understand. For a first time home seller, he made the process very easy. Ryan went the extra mile helping us lock in on a lower interest rate! He also coordinated a rent back situation for a month so we didn't have to find a place to live in the interim. We would highly recommend Ryan and will use him again in the future for any other purchases.

Working with Ryan as a first time home seller was a smooth experince. As an agent he does his best to ensure any questions you may have get awnsers wich did help me feel a lot more comfortable with the sale. He put in the effort to help get resources when things needed fixing or tune ups and gave me contact information of a local plumber, contractor etc services. He even helped walk me through the process for the water/ septic compliance tests and gave me solutions if anything needed to be fixed. One of my favorite things was his honestly as a realtor. Off the bat he was upfront about the home value and what to expect from the sale experince, he always seemed to have the clients best interest at heart while making sure there were realistic expectations. For any first time home seller or buyer I definitely would recommend Ryan as he goes above and beyond for his clients to make everything as easy and smooth as possible while trying to make sure you are happy with the results.
