It has been a very pleasant and educational process buying a piece of land with Brandon. We set up a meeting to go walk the land. Soon we found out that there were gopher turtle mounds on site, so we made a "note" of that. Moving on, we walked the entire parameter of the land. It has a gorgeous layout between open pasture land, forest and even lake views! This land is worth fighting for, and so we did. We had to work out a couple of quirks together with the listing realtor, but it all worked out in the end. We also learned a lot about the gopher turtles and how much they are protected! I found Brandon to be very responsive to every phone calls and text message, and to me, that is extremely important. I can highly recommend Brandon's services as a professional Realtor, who doesn't stop helping you after the land was bought, but also has connections to start fencing it, to keep it safe from wildlife. Rachel was quickly responsive to every question and every need. She was an ideal intermediary between buyer and seller. I know there were questions and requests outside her area of responsibility … she didn’t blink, she just graciously and happily handled any issues. Post closing? Same thing … in our absence, Rachel continues to help with matters as though she is the owner. Very comforting to us. Beyond her wonderful work as an agent, I found Rachel to be extremely pleasant, always cheerful, and genuinely interested in our happiness. We are glad we found Rachel. Once we started working with Kelly to find the home we wanted, Kelly was always very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of any of the properties we asked to see. When we finally found a new construction house we wanted, she helped us navigate through all the permitting and inspection procedures like the water testing in Marion County. She was especially helpful in getting the builder to finish up the details of the construction process like getting them to repair damage to the floor caused by the sub contractors. There were several issues like this which the builder needed to be "pressed" to get done like missing window screens and light fixture parts. If you're looking for an honest, hard working realtor who does what she says she will do to help guide you through the arduous process of finding and closing on a home, don't hesitate to call on Kelly Shipes!
