After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to sell a challenging property near Lancaster SC, I listed it with Kim Hanushek at eXp Realty. The 80-year-old house had been vacant for a year, had not been properly maintained for a number of years, and required much work just to get it in showable condition. Because I live in Virginia and was unable to oversee things myself, Kim took the initiative to assess the condition of the property and then engage multiple contractors for repairs, cleaning, and landscape maintenance. She kept me well-informed as activity progressed, including many before and after photos showing issues and their resolutions. Kim also patiently and meticulously stepped me through the listing, disclosure, and offer/counteroffer processes and the many associated documents. Kim's tireless work and attention to detail resulted in a full price offer within a few days of the listing going active on MLS. She skillfully orchestrated the negotiation, inspection and closing activity with the buyers and their agent, again keeping me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Kim for any property transaction, whether selling or buying. Her positive, can-do attitude and diligent, timely follow-through are truly commendable!

Rachel has helped us both purchase a house and sell the same house two and a half years later. As we purchased our home she had so much patience as we looked for the perfect house that we could afford and that met our needs. We purchased our home when the market was such that people were biding way over asking price and we weren't willing to do so. She would write a contract only to have it outbid by someone with much more money and desire. When we realized we would have to probably sell our house, she helped us with the process of selling it or of trying to rent it out. She put us in contact with land management companies, made phone calls to help us figure out if renting would work. In the end we had to sell it and she was so helpful to get it done. There were so many ups and downs in the process but she got it quickly sold and at a price that was great - we made money. Rachel is an excellent agent. We never saw her get upset or angry. She was always looking out for our best interest even if meant cutting into her bottom dollar. We highly recommend her. If we were buying in the area we would use her again and again.
