After nearly 40 years living in an EG community, being retired we decided to downsize our 4 bedroom, 2 floor Colonial home. We planned a move into a nearby condominium community that's 55+, with single floor living. After a review of options we decided to go with Coldwell Banker in EG, the team of Steven Miller and Tony Verdi. Our early discussions confirmed that we had a solid, experienced team representing us. We won the bid for a perfect Condominium, even though we had a house sale contingency and were competing against a cash bid offer. We learned later that the sellers agent wasn't concerned about our contingency as we were being represented by Steve and Tony to sell our home. And indeed they did, in record time!! With their extensive contacts throughout the New England realtor grapevine, a couple up near Boston, an hour away pre-empted our open house being planned a few days later. They quickly toured our home, and offered a compelling offer which met our top end sales target. Plans for the Open House were canceled.... yea! SOLD!!! The whole process beginning to end was smooth and seamless, including attention to detail, close communication plus appreciated reassurance and guidance throughout. To sum it up, they met all our goals and exceeded our expectations. A job well done, our lifetime friends Steve and Tony.... Thank you!!

Buying a home is one of the most important and stressful times in your life. My husband and I planned to move in 2026 and started looking at homes a couple of years before that. We weren't ready to buy a home at that time. Instead, we were doing research and considering and revising our thoughts about location, house vs condo, house size, lot size, our “non-negotiables”, etc. We even kept a spreadsheet about the listings we thought would be a good fit for us with details and our ratings of them. This would help us be ready in 2026. At the same time, we were unofficially interviewing/assessing realtors. Were they able to answer our questions? What information were they able to provide about the home? How long had they been a realtor? If they said they would get certain information to us, did they follow through? Were they knowledgeable, professional, engaging, and would they represent us well? We met Rochelle Ziegler at an open house we went to in Coventry in 2025 and we were very impressed! Meeting Rochelle was so refreshing. She had all of the qualities we were looking for in a realtor. I kept her business card. Fast forward to 2026, and the timing was right for us to buy a new home. The first thing we did was to call Rochelle. After reaching out, we had a call back in under five minutes! We built a wonderful relationship. Rochelle was extremely responsive, had an exceptional work ethic, and had our best interest at heart. She advocated and negotiated well for us. Rochelle is second to none! Jane & Ken
