Kathy was honest from the start regarding the listing price. The market had taken a downturn so we were not going to be reaping the benefits of the market when we had purchased only two years earlier. The neighborhood comps were disappointing for a home our size at our price point. Six weeks later after an open house and social media blitz, I agreed to lower the asking price. There were nibbles but nothing serious. Four plus months later, I agreed to lower the price again but fortunately the house went under a contingency contract before that price was updated.
