Maya always goes above and beyond! Buying a home is stressful regardless, so you can imagine how stressful it was trying to buy a home while not having access to my phone while at work! But Maya and the team made everything seamless and smooth. Maya is always on the hunt for homes for me, stays within my budget, shows me terrible homes I insist on seeing (even if she knows I’ll hate it but won’t say anything to try to dissuade me!), takes and sends pics of homes or things for me, and helps me get repairs done prior to move in. She always talks through strategy when purchasing and helps get the best deal possible! For the closing, the communication was fantastic! Gina and Maya and the team walked us through the paperwork and what was needed from me to be sure everything was ready on time and there was some issues with getting the sellers documents but I didn’t even know because they handled it all. It’s just incredibly reassuring to know the people you are working with have your best interest in mind and care as much about the process being stress free as you do. This is the second home buying that Maya has helped me buy and I will always use her for buying and selling!
Having worked with Mike before to purchase my first home, I reached out to him early on (well before listing my home for sale) to get some advice on the house sale process and what items could be done preemptively. Mike went out of his way to visit and speak with us to give us the confidence and answers we needed for when we chose to sell. Once my wife and I found the right house we wanted to purchase for our move, we had Mike handle both the purchase of the new property (for which he and Emily were also super helpful) as well as the sale of our existing house immediately afterwards. We were very happy with the listing and photos set up by his team, and he was always available when we had further questions or concerns. Overall the process of buying and selling with Mike as our agent went about as well as we could have hoped with this being our first time going through those processes simultaneously. They made an offer the day after seeing it, and with Mike's help we were able to negotiate a quick sale and get top dollar (so far exceeding what any other property in our neighborhood has sold for). Mike helped us to successfully navigate the repair process, and the sale is now closed. Furthermore, we were able to negotiate a lease back on the home until the new build is complete. Now we can focus on the build process on our new home and the logistics for the move. Thus, with Mike's help we have alleviated a lot of stress over trying to sell our current home in a tight market while building another.
