My husband and I met Joann a few years ago when she helped us with finding our coastal home. Her professional and personal demeanor made a lasting impression on us, so she was the obvious choice when we needed assistance. Where do I begin? My house looked amazing(in my opinion), curb side appeal, tons of showings, everything was going well, problems started to show from the previous owner, then the wife panics, now you know where that lands you. Mr.John was there, Mr.John had solutions yet keeping every possible outcome realistic, telling me things I didn’t want to hear, but needed to hear while still telling me he’s going to doing everything he possibly can, and he does it. I had a couple dozen situations he admitted he’s never been in before, but that’s where his experience shows, doesn’t just say deal with it and move on but lets take a minute to reflect on this situation to see what our new options are. If you want someone that will sell your home, why would you look anywhere else? If I could do business forever with this man I would, but that’s how Mr.John will treat you, as if you will be doing business together forever, not just some one time sale. Trust Mr.John because I did!!!!

I am absolutely the type of person who values word of mouth recommendations. Having said that, Tina had worked with an extended family member a few years ago and they highly recommended Tina along with her team. My wife and I where on vacation for a week and having visited North Carolina last year and absolutely falling in love with the area, we where determined to visit the many communities around North Topsail in search for land to buy. By Wednesday we found the perfect lot. Tina's market knowledge of what we should offer for the land we purchased saved my wife and I good amount of money. Tina was easily accessible during the whole process and within a few days we had an accepted offer for an incredible building lot. The entire process couldn't have gone any smoother. Probably within a weeks time we went from looking for land to being recorded owners, most of the paperwork was done after we left for home. The Cheek Team was outstanding with their support, from attaining the different covenants for the many neighborhoods we looked at to flood zone information. Joe was a great agent to work with. He listened, shared expertise and delivered results all without the high pressure we have come to expect from agents. We were out of town when the house was listed and he was always willing to jump in and help where needed. I would highly recommend Joe if you want an agent who actually works to get your home sold!

John persevered under somewhat trying circumstances, with a dated interior at the property and a dull market. When dealing with John, the one quality I loved above all others, was his honesty. Anytime he gave me information, I knew I could rely on it.
