I think a lot of people underestimate what it takes to be a good real estate agent. "Good" means different things to different people, but as someone who is essentially a complete novice to the real estate industry, I wanted someone who would look out for us and our interests. I wanted someone to help us navigate a notoriously cut-throat and shark-filled environment. Shannon was there for us every step of the way. She didn't rush us into a sale so she could scoop the commission. She didn't discourage my price offers during the negotiation process, which if accepted would have decreased her commission significantly. She DID always encourage us to ask questions, and she always looked out for us to ensure we weren't taken advantage of by the selling agent (and boy, did the selling agent try to do just that). She provided lots of input, and she was very careful not to overstep. She put our wants/needs first. She has an excellent network of contractors, handymen, inspectors, etc. that we really tapped into during our due diligence phase. Shannon's experience and super friendly manner made our home-buying process pretty much stress-free. She loves what she does, and it definitely shows. I always say it's better to be lucky than good, and in this case we were very lucky to have Shannon as our buyer's agent. She's kind, she's honest, she's likeable, but most important of all, she's good. She's good at her job, and she's good at heart. I'd let Shannon represent any of my family members or friends looking to buy or rent.

Short Version: Donald helped me purchase my first home which should have been more complicated. Donald was VERY responsive, knowledgeable, and made the entire process effortless. Where do I begin with the positive attributes of Donald? I think the most impressive what Donald's responsiveness. He was always available by text or phone. When he wasn't (i.e. obtaining his broker's license in CA) he let me know in advance. Further, Donald always kept me updated. I always knew where we were at in the purchasing process. The next thing that impressed me with Donald was his knowledge and professionalism. I had very specific details in the property I was looking for and Donald gathered all the information on those properties and presented it to me. Then, in a very professional manner, he let me make the choice on the property that I liked the most. Although due to the very specific criterion I gave Donald, the choice was easy because of his diligence. Lastly, Donald is just a very easy person to work with. The entire purchasing process was effortless. I was in a very busy chapter of life when I wanted to purchase a property and Donald made it happen without adding additional stress my busy schedule. His personality, work ethic, and professionalism made the purchase effortless. I can't recommend Donald enough. I will definitely be calling him when I am ready to purchase or sell another property.
