Unfortunately the sellers dragged their feet and actually tried to delay the closing even though they had signed the contract agreeing to the date. Katie made several contacts with the sellers agent and we know spent a lot time on the phone making sure that everything got done. It was a stressful time for us, but Katie kept us in the loop with frequent updates on the progress and that helped ease the stress. Lisa Vela was ALWAYS available for home tours. Her responsiveness was incredible. If she didn’t pick up, she always called back no longer than 5 minutes later. Seriously. My purchase wasn’t a straightforward deal. She told me that going in and highlighted the concerns she had and did the research to make sure progress was being made and I wouldn’t have to wait for a long time to move in.
