We just closed on our third purchase with Tammi. Things I have learned from working with her: she works harder than the vast majority of realtors; she finds ways to get an edge during the process; and she truly looks out for the financial interests of her clients through an uncanny “sense” or “feel” for the deal. From the hard working perspective, two things stand out. First, she is always working to advance the process at a speed that is consistent with our needs and goals. And she drives the process, bringing the other realtor along for the ride. And with our most recent purchase, Tammi spend a large portion of New Years Eve day with us visiting the property and structuring an offer despite having guests over at her house. But the thing that impresses me the most about Tammi has been her ability to accurately assess the strength of our position in the purchasing process. In our first purchase with Tammi, we had agreed on an offer price (a competitive situation) and at the last second I panicked and told her I wanted to increase our offer. Tammi calmly told me that she thought we were in a good position and to hold tight and stick with the plan. Lo and behold, Tammi was right! So not only did we pay less than we were willing to spend, but Tammi’s commission was less as well. With our most recent purchase, our offer was countered (a significant counter offer) by the seller. My wife and I were ready to accept the counter as we really wanted the property. However, Tammi told us that we should counter the sellers counter. Having faith in Tammi, from experience, we did in fact make a counter offer. And consistent with Tammi’s feel for the deal, our counter was accepted. Going forward there is nobody else that we would want to represent us in any real estate transaction

Tammi is amazing!! She sold out first house while helping us navigate through purchasing a new construction home in Grand Rapids!! Tammi pays attention to detail and actually helped us realize our builders painted our new build the entire wrong color internally. Days before we were planning to close, Tammi came out to do our walk through with us. My husband and I were discussing how we were a little bummed with the way the internal color looked compared to what we expected. After discussing it more, Tammi suggested we look at the paint gallons downstairs to make sure they hadn’t messed up. To our surprise, they painted the house a different color than we selected in our contract. We reached out to the builders and they repainted the entire house. Without Tammi, we never would have realized this and wouldn’t have been able to get the issue fixed before closing and moving in!!! We are so grateful!

Robin keeps you well informed on each step of the process. We reviewed a number of similar homes in the area that recently sold to establish our price point. She suggested doing a coming soon process that allow home buyers to review the house online and we had a number of appointments set up for the first day on the market. The video and photos were done very nicely. We received and accepted an offer over asking the second day it was on the market. Robin kept us informed at each step of the process and gave suggestions to help with the sale and as we worked through the steps to the closing. We have worked with Robin and a purchase and a sale of a home in the last 6 years. Both experiences went very smoothly.
