We worked with Scott through three seasons in 2023: late winter through mid-summer. We were in Chicago working with Scott via facetime for the majority of the time, making several trips to find a house in person. He is so knowledgeable about home architecture, design and improvement. His 20 plus years looking at homes professionally is apparent, and he always states, but I’m not an architect. His willingness to discuss any and all aspects of a home was so valuable, we learned a great deal about each house and what it would take to make it a home for us. We were so appreciative of his availability every weekend. Not only was he generous with his time, he organized our time so well and organized each viewing in a manner that gave us a good sense of the location, traffic flow, land around the house and the exterior of the house. Viewing the interiors was similarly valuable as he described, explained and commented on so many specific features, many of which we had not taken notice of. Being on face time for 80% of the viewings, he was a terrific guide. He was responsive to what was important to us and quickly incorporated looking at and describing the new home conditions we viewed as important over time. He showed empathy for lost houses and support for keeping the search active. Over the months while spending so much time with him, he felt like a best friend. House buying is such an emotional endeavor, Scott’s professional way of being: available for the time it took, even keeled, and knowledgeable; was the balance we needed. Thanks Scott
