Our friend referred us to Ann Wacholder last June. We flew from California and she spent a couple of days showing us the Venice area as well as surrounding towns. Although we were not quite ready to buy, we viewed quite a few homes and neighborhoods with her so that she had a good idea of the house we were looking for. She then had us put on the email contact list for any home that came on the market that fit our criteria. Two months later something came up, we immediately contacted Ann and she viewed the home the next morning. She said, I think you are going to love this house and the neighborhood”…and we did! I flew from California the following day and three days after viewing the house online from our out-of-state home, and then in person, we had a contract! Ann goes over and beyond for her clients. She was right there with us every step, answering questions, responding very quickly to emails and texts, orchestrating between us and the mortgage lender, the Closing Attorneys…basically on top of everything. This was of paramount importance to us since we were out of state buyers! Ann is professional, very knowledgeable of the area and her business. And, she was a pleasure to work with. Joan is very professional and experienced in real estate. She did a market analysis and assisted us in setting a selling price. Before showing the property, she had a professional photographer take beautiful pictures of the property, including a drone shot from above. We scheduled the showing, which lasted for 3 days. There were signs posted directing potential buyers to the open house. After a very strong turnout, we received 4 offers above the asking price. We accepted the best offer and set a closing date. After a delay from the buyer due to financing, we had to do a roof repair. Because of her contacts, Joan was able to set up an expedited repair and the bank approved the financing. The process of selling a house is challenging and Joan knows her stuff. I would highly recommend using her services to anyone looking to sell their property.
