Moving to another state is hard, on top of that the market seemed to becoming more turbulent but honestly nothing felt anything less than a storm while we were packing up our entire lives and leaving the home we raised our child in for a new adventure. We left behind messes, loose ends, chaos. Lauren took care of everything, she sold our home quickly and did so many things on our behalf which kept us from leaping off a cliff. When I look back at this time it was one of the most energizing (good and bad) experiences of my life, there were endless reasons to live in fear. Life seems to swirl around us like a tornado of anxiety but in the middle of it all, a calm, golden haired, smiling beacon that everything was going to work out exactly as it should. That beacon was Lauren. From the moment I met her, I knew she was real, capable, and hard working and I’m so glad she was a part of my life which was at once difficult and beautiful.
