Fantastic experience! We used Alex and Derek to buy our new home and sell our old one. From day one, it felt like we were the only clients they had. Jim Smith with Golden Real Estate After our property had been on the market for a year with no results, I began researching agents. It was time for a change. I identified about a dozen potential highly rated agents to call for an interview. I asked them how they go about marketing their properties. All of them said essentially the same: they photograph the property, add the listing to the MLS, do an open house. They all said someone “in the office” handled their social media by shooting an email to the other agents in town. (One agent I spoke to told me candidly that they simply delete those emails.) I hired Jim because he was the only one who did anything different and creative. He wrote a newspaper article for the Denver Post, which also went out to 12 local satellite papers. He actively promoted our listing on his website and blog. He personally sends out a newsletter. Because our HOA doesn’t allow “For Sale” signs on the property, he put one up on a nearby, high traffic cross street. His MLS listing included, not only photos of our property, but an audio/video tour of our condo, which he narrated to highlight helpful information that might not be in the MLS listing. Jim was also attentive. He always answered every phone call, email and text right away. If he couldn’t talk at length, he told me when he would call back. We always had updates. He advised us about suggested changes to contracts. I found him to work efficiently and with integrity. I would recommend him without hesitation. (I don’t usually do reviews like this, but this was a rather extraordinary exception.)
