Max was a huge help for us! I was helping my sister sell a home that her husband had been working on before he passed away from a sudden illness. The house was becoming an albatross for my sister. A mortgage was still owed on it. The house needed a lot of work that she couldn't afford that made it impossible to rent. Even the physical location was very difficult for her to access as a non-driving single parent of two. By the time we started talking with Max, I'd solicited 5 offers and estimates and none of them would even cover the existing mortgage. Repairing wasn't going to be feasible because it was going to cost too much and neither of us lived close enough to the home to manage contractors.
