Martha was great to work with. Of all the agents we talked to, she was the one who listened to what we actually wanted (and what we actually could afford), instead of trying to push us above our comfortable budget/push us to buy a place that wasn't the right fit. At the same time, she helped us navigate the realities of buying in the East Bay, and helped us expand our search to meet our actual needs. Martha never stopped hunting for the perfect place for us, and when we found it, she made really sure we were confident about our decisions and helped us strategize our offer. She really cares about getting her clients into the home that's right for them. As first time homebuyers (and now first time homeowners), we are so grateful for her tremendous depth of expertise and tenacity.

Martha was easy to work with. She walked us through the process and took care of all the details (extra cleaning, additional disclosures, refreshing the yard and interior with plants and “extras”). Everything went smoothly and calmly. Martha created a timeline that worked beautifully, starting with preparing the house, listing its attributes, selecting the right price and marketing it with an open house. It was a pleasure!

Adrienne has deep knowledge of both the market and the buyers who would be interested in our house. She managed the entire sale of our house without us living there or doing any work ourselves. It was picture perfect, and the house sold quickly, way above asking, and the day before it was supposed to go on the market. She has an incredible eye for detail and collaborated with our interior designer to make the house look beautiful. She even timed the wisteria blooms to the market date. We found Adrienne to be exceptionally easy to work with. She is quick, witty, funny, and moves super fast. I never once had to remind her of a detail or make sure she was paying attention to a particular part of the sale. She had it all in hand. When we closed, our family was in Paris. She even told us how to get a notary abroad. I only wish all real estate agents were as smart and as hardworking as she is. Adrienne was always professional, timely, responsive, and had a concrete answer to any questions we ever posed. Our house had a very particular aesthetic, and we put a lot of money into it because we were not anticipating moving. I was concerned that it was a niche property. She reassured me that buyers wanted what we had invested in, and she was absolutely correct. I'm a straightforward person by nature, and Adrienne is equally direct. I wanted her to take the reins, and she did. When it came time to decide when and how to sell, Adrienne gave clear, informed advice on pricing and had buyers lined up around the block. My designer called it a "feeding frenzy," which I attribute to Adrienne's deep network of other realtors, up-to-the-minute knowledge of buyer movement, and great relationships with everybody she works with, including her team of handymen, stagers, and office staff. I've bought and sold homes in many cities over the past ten years. Adrienne is the best agent we have worked with, hands down.

Furthermore, our situation was complex, given that the other seller and I are separated, but she navigated the situation like a pro. As we prepared the house for sale, she communicated with us in a timely manner, took our calls when there were hiccups, and did a great job fixing up the house for sale. Once it came time to review offers and select a buyer, she was tremendous. She and Jack Burley did a great job organizing all of the offers into a spreadsheet which made it easy to decide which offer to accept. When our sale hit a bump towards the close of escrow, Nancy came to the rescue to assure our buyer and their agent that we were going to close nearly on time, and ultimately we closed on time anyway. I can't recommend Nancy enough! She was a pleasure to work with.

With the benefit of Nancy's experience and knowledge we were able to find our house within a few weeks. He toured houses and neighborhoods with us and helped us through financing and negotiations. She made herself easily available throughout. We even toured one of her houses and she always provided expert advice and recommendations for everything we needed.
