We had a great experience working with Kacey; she made the whole process feel stress free and smooth as she was so prepared and knowledgeable. As first time buyers we really didn't know what we were doing but she walked us through every step and there were no surprises. She was incredibly patient, responsive and friendly; we felt like she really cared about finding the right home for our family. We’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home.

I am experienced in the marketing of real property for clients. I discussed the subject property with several potential realtors, received advice from a friend who is one of the most successful realtors in Northern California and interviewed four prospects. In contrast to the other three, Steven Good was immediately responsive to my request for an interview and provided some pertinent written materials on less than a day’s notice. Again in contrast to the others, he believed that the property could be sold as a residence rather than as a teardown. With remarkable speed, he analyzed and recommended the various improvements that should be made in order to expose the property to the market most advantageously. Using his many contacts, he identified contractors and individuals to do the necessary work and obtained my approval. He monitored all the work being done and kept me advised of its progress. He established a budget for the work and did not exceed it. He created an attractive website to offer the property for sale. Several persons who had known the late owner and were familiar with her home expressed amazement at how attractive the work Mr. Good recommended had made the property. He was thorough in exposing the property to other brokers. He was knowledgeable about the prospect of a “bidding war” occurring. He recommended listing the price at a figure well above that recommended by the other three broker candidates. As soon as the bidding was open, we received an offer $150,000 above the asking price, and the property was ultimately sold for $250,000 more. Mr. Good continued, as he had from the beginning, monitoring the entire process. He worked out an issue affecting the allocation, of property taxes. The sale closed only 14 days after my acceptance of the offer, with no complications. As a lawyer specializing in estates, I will have the opportunity to engage or recommend real estate brokers for property in the Montclair area. My choice will be Steven Good.

Jill Carrigan is simply fantastic. She brings together two crucial qualities that rarely exist at this level in the same person: an exceptional design sensibility and a remarkably savvy approach to pricing and marketing. Thanks to Jill's excellent eye for decor, color, architecture, and garden design, and she knew exactly how to bring out our property's best qualities in the most cost-effective ways. She understands that great presentation isn't simply about making a property look beautiful—it’s about creating a feeling and helping buyers immediately see the possibilities. We loved our house before, but after Jill's thoughtful and lovely upgrades, it absolutely shone. Just as impressive is Jill's strategic intelligence. Her pricing recommendations were smart and extremely well calibrated, and her marketing strategy was sophisticated, creative, and relentlessly focused on generating the right kind of attention. She understands the psychology of buyers and knows how to position a property so that it stands out in a crowded market. Jill is also a just pleasure to work with—warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in our home and our outcome. We could not have asked for a better advocate or a more talented person to represent our home! We feel extremely fortunate to have had Jill in our corner and recommend her without hesitation.
