Everyone should have Jim as THEIR realtor. He's absolutely outstanding. Because of his excellent service, we were totally comfortable buying a house in Arizona (we live in Minnesota) without a personal visit during the inspection period (I had a heart attack) . And, several months later, we still feel the same. We have the right house, at the right price, in the right location and that is entirely Jim's work. He got to know us, told us what was good and what was not good about each house we were interested in buying. He knew local conditions and considerations, provided excellent advice, and took care of all the details, enabling us to close remotely. We could call him with any questions, at any time, including after the transaction was completed. Once the home was purchased, Jim continued as a resource to advise on local contractors to replace the roof and A/C as well as other questions. We consider Jim to be a friend, as well as a consummate professional.

We met Paulette via putting an offer in on a house where she was representing the seller. The seller and buyer (myself) didn't agree on a price so the offer fell through. I wasn't using a buyer agent, because I didn't feel that I needed to spend 3% when I was going to do the work. The biggest investment of your life and you leave it up to someone else - I don't understand that. Anyway we had encountered about 10 seller agents in our search. Paulette was easily our favorite so we decided to hire her to represent us in making an offer on one specific house. We agreed that compensation would be way less then for an agent who ran the buyer around to many houses, and all that. We knew what we wanted and we knew that the work that our buyer agent would have to put in wasn't going to be worth tens of thousands to us. As it turned out Paulette went above and beyond what we expected considering our agreement didn't require all that much from her. - Gold Star
