We had a unique situation with our mortgage because my wife is a physician, and we were using a physicians loan with 100% financing. Susan made sure to learn about that and how it would impact our negotiation strategy with the seller, appraisal, etc. As the expert, she did give recommendations on how to approach the offer, but when we wanted to go with a different strategy, she didn't push back, she just executed, and thankfully it worked out.
