I recently moved from Washington state to upstate New York with my husband. We had very specific wishes for a home in an area of upstate that we knew would make finding what we wanted difficult. We also wanted lakefront property and we were considering building new. To make things even more difficult, we were still living in Washington at the time and were only able to fly out here once to tour properties. I have bought and sold real estate across the US (both for personal and investment reasons) and worked with dozens of different real estate agents with varying levels of skill, dedication, and competence. You change your mind a lot and need constant communication to stay on top of things 3000 miles away. The needs of my wife and I were very specific, but also changing on a regular basis. Which county? Often times agents will become exhausted from fussy clients (and I'm one of the fussiest) and give up on you until you're on your own. Tori was the first realitor to actually listen to what we needed. I am very tall and after looking for over 4 1/2 years of looking and over 150 houses between 2 other realities, Tori was able to help us find our home after only looking at about 12 houses. She not only listened to us but even helped us realize we were speaking for each other when we looked and not for ourselves.
