Tom Meany is a terrific realtor. We bought our house from Tom 8 years ago and we still love it today. Tom takes the extra time to make sure his clients pick the right house. While we were looking at the features of homes Tom was often found checking out the utility room looking for leaks and making sure the furnace, water heater and other appliances were all in working order. Tom is not afraid to point any flaws with a house, which is a great thing when a realtors main objective is to get a client in a home. In addition to steering us toward the right house Tom was also able to negotiate a great price on the house. i would definitely recommend working with Tom.

Tom was the agent for both a home my wife and I sold and purchased. Tom was extremely customer service oriented. He always responded immediately whether our communication was morning, noon, or night. Tom listened to what we wanted (several times lol) and never pushed his own agenda. When it came to selling our house, Tom gave us his suggested guidelines for getting the greatest amount of offers, highest price, and the fastest turnaround for the listing going live and it selling. He discussed those points with us in detail (several times lol) and we ended up choosing to listen, it worked! It was a very good value to have bought and sold with Tom. No question, we would refer Tom to all that we know--He is the gold standard!

I just closed on the sale of my rental property and I can't say enough great things about working with Tom. We sold for $20K over asking price and $20K more than our next door neighbor 2 weeks apart. Tom helped us with how to handle our tenant situation and advised us on some of the aspects around eviction, he advised us on where to spend our money to make the house show well, he had great contacts for staging (which I highly recommend doing), and he did an excellent job managing the offers that came in to maximize our sale with the least risk. Incidentally the appraisal came back nearly $20K below sale price yet Tom worked with the buyer's agent and was able to get another appraisal that landed at the sale price! The whole process of working with Tom was great. He's a straight shooter and was very responsive. I'd higly recommend working with Tom (and taking his advice) if you want to maximize your investment.

We just finished working with Tom for our second home purchase. Like last time, he was a pleasure to work with. Tom knows the market trends and neighborhoods very well, always keeping up-to-date. He is a strong negotiator pushing for his clients' interests at all times. When looking for a new home, his knowledge of construction is invaluable. He can tell you what may be problematic down the line due to shoddy workmanship vs what has been built well and will not need work in the immediate future. By far, he is the built realtor I have ever worked with, and I will continue to do so. You should too.

Tom helped me buy and sell my first home in Richfield in 2013. I was a first time homebuyer and made it clear I was looking for an agent who would give me an honest and straightforward analysis of each property we looked at, and that is exactly what I got. He got to know my wants and needs and did not try to sell me on something he knew was not right for me. Everywhere we looked across the twin cities, he knew the history of when the area was built, what types of materials were used at the time and even what the soil composition was so I could get a detailed comparison of the various properties of interest. When I found the property I would be purchase, Tom was actively involved in the negotiation process. He introduced me to a great loan officer and proposed a strategy for the negotiation for which got me the best deal possible. After being in that home for five years, when I was looking to make a move, I reached out to Tom again to discuss market conditions. Long story short, Tom once again proved himself to be an excellent advocate in both the sale and subsequent purchase of my current home. I have been very fortunate in my real estate transactions and I can honestly say that without Tom on my side, my experience would not have been nearly as positive.
