was a First Time Homebuyer, and initially was very anxious about buying a home. Tarik was the best. Tarik explained things to me and gave his honest opinions regarding the properties I was interested in. Being a first-time homebuyer, you get excited and overwhelmed at the same time. My Fiancé and I were looking for a property with a least an acre of land. Tarik sent us weekly listings. When found a property, he thought we might like he would send those to us as well. Of course, I was all over the Legends of Real Estate website. I like the flow of the site. It’s easy to navigate and stays up to date with the latest listing. Some of the listing I sent to Tarik did not meet the qualifications I had given to him when I initially started on the homebuying journey. Tarik would gently remind me that the property did not meet the qualifications I had given him; however, if I had changed my mind and wanted to view the home, he would make that possible. He researched every listing I sent to him. He let me know if it was a good property, worth the money and if not, he would tell me why. I appreciated his honesty and felt like he was in our corner, looking out for us. He stayed in good communication with me throughout the entire process. About two weeks before the scheduled closing, I contacted Tarik, and told him I was not happy with the Lender I was working with and would like to switch Lenders. I knew this would delay the closing, but I did not know for how long. Initially I was scheduled to close January 21st. I expected Tarik to be professional, albeit a bit upset with the news I was switching Lenders so late in the game. However, that was not the case at all. Tarik totally supported my decision and recommended a new Lender to me. He called that Lender immediately. He told them I would be calling and informed them where in the process of buying the home.
